Counselor Hossam Elkashef is among the most distinguished legal professionals, with over 18 years of experience in the Egyptian Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Justice.

He has served as a Judge and Chief of the Primary Court, as well as Chief Prosecutor at the Office of the Attorney General, where he investigated and adjudicated criminal, economic, financial, and cybercrime cases, including corporate, capital market, intellectual property, and anti-money laundering cases.

His expertise also extends to litigation, arbitration, commercial law, corporate governance, and compliance, with advanced specialization in:Legal Technology (Legal Tech), Financial Technology (FinTech), Information Technology Laws (IT Laws), Artificial Intelligence and Ethics (AI & Ethics), Data Privacy and Protection, Intellectual Property (IP), Digital Platforms, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Capital Market Laws.

Counselor Elkashef was a member of the committee responsible for drafting and implementing the Egyptian Public Prosecution’s Digital Transformation Strategy, and he supervised its nationwide execution.

He officially represented the Public Prosecution before law enforcement agencies, ministries, and institutions concerned with technology and digital transformation, leading national projects in digital transformation, IT laws, and legal technology, and contributing to the development of the Cybersecurity Guide and judicial digital systems.

He also participated in training judges and prosecutors on using digital judicial systems and applications, dealing with digital evidence, cybercrimes, and data protection.

Additionally, he contributed to legal research and legislative initiatives on artificial intelligence and ethics, data protection, and digital platform governance, and participated in developing legal frameworks for the use of technology in judicial work.
